Stanley N. Maragos Promoted to Vice President, Wieland Dental Systems Inc.

In promotions news, Wieldand Dental Systems kicked off the month of June announcing the promotion of Stanley Maragos to the position of Vice President. He had previously served as the company's General Manager.

In his new position, Maragos will be in charge of overall organizational activities for the global company, developing Wieland's CAD/CAM products and ceramic materials.

Frankfurt, Germany, June 1st, 2012 - Torsten Schwafert, CEO, Wieland Dental GmbH, today announced the promotion of Stanley N. Maragos to Vice President, Wieland Dental Systems Inc.. Mr. Maragos will preside over the company's activities, reporting directly to Mr. Torsten Schwafert and Mr. Marcus Kieffer.

A Minneapolis native with 15 years of medical device management experience, Mr. Maragos has been an instrumental part of developing brands, launching ‘high-tech’ products, and leading organizations. In his new role, Mr. Maragos will oversee overall organizational activities, and continue to develop the industry’s leading CAD/CAM technology (Zenotech) and all ceramic materials (Zenostar). “With a ‘best-in-class’ sales team, Wieland continues to deliver cutting edge technologies to the industry. Mr. Maragos joined the company in 2011 and previously served as General Manager, WDS. Mr. Maragos is the CFO and Board Member for the non-profit Economic Ventures and has a BS in Business from Skidmore College.
