64-bit MacPractice 4.4 offers a variety of new features, including Time Clock, inventory tracking, enhanced insurance verification, and more.

The upgraded software – which is included with all new purchases of MacPractice DDS – requires Mac OS 10.8, Mountain Lion, and interoperates with MacPractice Patient Check In, Clipboard and MacPractice iEHR apps for the iPad, as well as MacPractice Interface for the iPhone.

Inventory tracking utilizes barcode readers and integrates with practices’ existing fee schedules and patient ledgers.  Other new features include new revenue cycle management tools, supplementary internet backup, additional digital imaging integrations, new 3rd-party cloud EMR/EHR options, and expanded internet connectivity for providers and patients.

Also, MacPractice has announced plans to update its 30,000 existing users to the new version as they are ready.
