In this on-demand Q&A with Dr. Scott Ganz, we talk about his upcoming involvement in the 7th International Congress on 3D Dental Imaging. Plus, we tell you how to save $250 on your attendance registration.

At the 7th International Congress on 3D Dental Imaging, Dr. Scott Ganz will be helping attendees navigate through the world of 3D imaging diagnosis, especially how it relates to dental implants.

The use of CBCT has empowered clinicians with unsurpassed insight into individual patient anatomy. However, it is not just about the scan. The ability to assimilate the information utilizing the power of the hardware and software has not been generally taught in dental schools at either the undergraduate or post-graduate levels.

The purpose of Ganz’ Congress presentation will be to review the important steps to insure proper diagnosis and treatment planning for a variety of different procedures leading to the slogan “It’s not the scan, It’s the Plan!™” as can only be achieved with 3D imaging technology.

Dr. Ganz explains in the video interview below that all case planning needs to be done on an individual and unique scale-every patient is different. With the use of 3D imaging, this need can truly be met.

“3D imaging allows us to be able to understand that all of our patients are totally unique and individual,” he says. “We can get an anatomy text book and look at the mandible or maxilla, but the reality is that every patient presentation is different. You cannot tell that from 2D radiographs.”
