Dr. Kessler replaces Dr. Irwin M. Becker as Chairman of Education.

American Academy of Periodontology provides testimony for CDC planning
March 21st 2012Chicago – April 26, 2010 – The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) was recently invited to provide testimony to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Oral Health (CDC DOH) as part of the strategic planning process for 2011 through 2014. The submission of this testimony is an extension of the longstanding collaboration between the AAP and the CDC to develop a surveillance program to determine the incidence and prevalence of periodontal disease in the US population.

March 21st 2012our goal is to be totally paperless by 2012, and to get that accomplished we knew we needed to convert to digital x-rays. XLDent was able to provide the digital x-rays and other things we needed to benefit our practice. They’ve been wonderful in helping us get to where we want to be. We’re not 100% paperless yet as we still use paper charts on a minimal basis, but otherwise we’re pretty much all the way there.
