In today’s modern technology environment, dental photography is, without a doubt, a major component of an optimized workflow between the dentist and lab. Pictures of teeth are, of course, the main resource, but digital dental photography can be used to communicate so much other information: a picture of a framework to the milling center; a picture of an impression to the dentist; a photo of the situation in the mouth of a patient; an image of the patient at home so they can think of the reasons of a proposed treatment; and more.

In order to help labs and clinicians with photography, Smile Line has introduced two products that work in harmony with one another. Smile Lite is a color corrected light to 5500K for ease of taking shades and photography. Smile Lite comes with a polarizing filter designed to help labs and clinicians to get greater depth and accurate color of the tooth.

To accompany Smile Lite, Smile Capture is a set of accessories and an app allowing lab technicians and dentists to combine Smile Lite and iPhones for dental photography.
