A recent collaboration between SOREDEX USA and the Marquette University School of Dentistry yielded the first U.S. installation of a SCANORA 3Dx CBCT digital imaging system.
“Being able to spearhead such a new and innovative product in Milwaukee is a great achievement and really showcases the creativity and capability of our organizers,” said Brian Broncatti, North American SOREDEX Vice President. “We are proud to be able to work with Marquette University School of Dentistry to ensure today’s students and future HCPs learn how to effectively incorporate the latest technology.”
For administrators at the school, the regional partnership presents many exciting care and educational opportunities. “The SCANORA 3Dx enhances our ability to provide superior care,” said Lisa Koenig, BChD, DDS, and MS Program Director of Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology. “The new technology will make our patients more comfortable, which will allow our students to learn more efficiently. SOREDEX and Marquette have been excellent partners, so it made sense to work with them to bring this unique experience to our students.”
The SCANORA 3Dx digital imaging system offers 3D diagnostic information, as well as rich visual images designed to interest patients in their own care. Variable fields of view isolate areas of interest, reportedly allowing for greater efficiency and flexibility.
