Labs sourcing zirconium oxide blanks and blocks from Kerox Dental will now have the products’ content verified through the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council’s materials certification program. This will assist labs in maintaining their own product quality while providing dentists, their patients and insurers with documentation to help assure them the advanced Kerox materials they ordered were those that were used in the restoration.

Each order from Kerox Dental will be shipped with two-part, adhesive certificates attesting to the zirconium oxide content of the product. Labs can keep one part and send the second to dentists with the case for filing with patient and insurance records.

“Our company has 30 years experience in ceramic production, and 100 percent, multi-stage product inspections,” notes Ákos Szatmári, Kerox Dental’s International Sales Manager. ”Certifying our material content through the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council is another way we back up Kerox’s no-compromise commitment to quality.”

“Kerox’s decision to join dozens of other manufacturers in verifying product content through the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram program solidly positions it among the industry’s leaders,” says Charles Yenkner, Executive Director of the IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council. “We’re delighted to welcome the company into the program.”

Kerox Dental manufactures zirconium oxide blanks and blocks for dental restorations used in a wide range of manual and CAD/CAM milling machines. Its ZircoStar® line is available in standard dimensions with optimized blank porosity and density for superior milling and fabrication results. Kerox Dental can also provide custom-shaped and sized zirconia upon request. The company serves worldwide customers from its base in Hungary, E.U.

The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council is a nonprofit organization formed to raise healthcare standards through the documentation of alloys and ceramic materials used in dental restorations. More information is available at IdentAlloy.org. Information about Kerox Dental can be found at keroxdental.net.
