Stratasys Ltd., a leading manufacturer of 3D printers and production systems for prototyping and manufacturing, recently announced that ClearCorrect LLC, a leading manufacturer of clear aligners has significantly scaled up the number of Objet-line 3D Printing Systems it has onsite.

ClearCorrect’s previous investment in the Objet-line 3D Printers has been realized several times over with increased demand, faster production and delivery to customers, along with lower operational costs. ClearCorrect is now scaling up the business even more, by increasing capacity another 30 percent. ClearCorrect says this move will help them become more efficient and responsive in the manufacture and delivery of custom-made orthodontic aligners on a mass scale.

Jarrett Pumphrey, CEO of ClearCorrect commented: “The Objet Eden 3D Printers are pivotal to ClearCorrect in the competitive environment we operate in. Increasing revenue and substantial growth continues to be fueled by our focus on digital production, enabled by Stratasys’ Objet-line 3D Printers.”

ClearCorrect says their transparent orthodontic aligner system offers an attractive, simple and comfortable route to straighter teeth. Production at their manufacturing center in Houston, Tex., is heavily supported by a large number of Stratasys Objet Eden- line 3D Printing Systems.

“By adding a significant number of 3D printing systems, ClearCorrect has demonstrated its satisfaction and trust in Stratasys,” said Avi Cohen, Director of Global Dental at Stratasys. “The growth in efficiency improvements triggered by our 3D printers has had a remarkable effect on their bottom line.”

"We see this as a significant orthodontic solution that brings together two leading technologies,” concluded Cohen.
