CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that can be used as a payment option for certain expenses, announced new software integration that improves the ease of use with Carestream, Curve and Eaglesoft practice management software, making it easier for dental teams to help patients apply for CareCredit. The integration also makes it simple for patients, pending credit approval, to immediately schedule necessary care.

“We understand that today’s dental teams are busy. The integration of CareCredit into practice management software helps save time and helps more patients get care,” said Dave Fasoli, President of CareCredit. “This is definitely an example of how technology can automate and simplify systems within the practice, ultimately benefiting the team and patients.”

Additionally, CareCredit announced that existing CareCredit providers can take advantage of a free custom Practice Performance Review being offered at ADA. Practices can learn how many times they have appeared searches in CareCredit's online locater (that helps patients locate one of the over 100,000 enrolled dental practices), and can identify cardholders in the practice with available credit. These stats can help practices discover how much additional treatment has resulted from cardholders reusing CareCredit healthcare cards.

Practices that already accept CareCredit healthcare credit cards for payment and would like to get a Practice Performance Review can stop by the CareCredit Booth #1200 at the 2014 ADA Annual Meeting.
