Dr. John Schwartz to present e.max course at The Integra Institute

New Orleans-Master ceramist Dr. John Shwartz will present a 2-day course on advanced staining and layering techniques with Ivoclar Vivadent's e.max lithium disilicate material May 13-14 at The Integra Institute in New Orleans.

The goal of this two day course is to learn advanced anterior sequential layering and staining techniques utilizing the e.Max system. Students will discover through the philosophy of biomimetics the physiology behind color logic of a central, lateral and canine.

Emphasis will be placed on the students ability to “decode” a natural dentition and create crowns that are indistinguishable with nature upon completion of this course.

Other areas of emphasis:

• Lithium Disilicate framework designs for anterior teeth

• Surface texture and polishing techniques to create natural finishes

• Rational of anterior tooth shape

• Value differential of central, lateral, and canine
