We all have the need for marketing collateral materials designed to help present our business to prospective clients. Many laboratories have “starter kits” or “presentation pocket folders” while some laboratories have no materials to help them distinguish their laboratory services from the competition.

In 1982 I walked into the executive offices of the world’s largest developer of beauty salons and spas. I wasn’t quite 30 years old but I was excited to meet with the senior staff of this prestigious company. I wanted to learn how dental beauty services could compliment facial beauty services.  I thought that there were some lessons I could learn. I could not believe they were going to actually meet with me.

John Just named Laserdenta Director of Tech Support/Service Laserdenta Inc. President Brian F. Binnie announced the appointment of John Just, CDT, as Director of Technical Support and Services at the Laserdenta Inc. North American Education and Technical Center in Brea, Calif. John brings both I.T. knowledge as a Micro Soft Beta Tester, but also the years of knowledge and experience he has had as a Dental Technician and Laboratory Owner.

Productivity Traning Corp. (PTC) recently announced the upcoming schedule for its Training and Verification System courses for 2010. The TVS Crown and Bridge seminars will be  held: January 13-16, March 3-6, May 19-22, July 21-24, September 22-25, and November 3-6. The TVS Denture Seminars will be held: January 27-30, May 5-8, and September 8-11. TVS Porcelain Seminars will take place on: February 10-13, April 7-10, June 16-19, August 18-21, and October 13-16. All courses will be held at the company's Morgan Hill, Calif. facility.

September 27, 2010-The IdentAlloy/IdentCeram Council and the National Association for Dental Laboratories have committed to a five-year support program for The Foundation for Dental Technology. Between 2010 and 2014 the Council will contribute a total of $50,000 to the Foundation’s work.
