This platform will host a variety of features including a “My Community” module. This will act as a social network allowing users to upload photos, add status updates, join interest groups, and private message other users. There will be an OSAP Event Calendar, which will display events and meetings where OSAP leaders will be attending as well as standard events. A community forum will allow members with similar interests to convene and discuss.
In addition to the website, OSAP has also launched an Infection Prevention and Safety CE Center. Clinicians can utilize this to seek out infection prevention and control education. The center has more than 25 courses available for CE Credit. OSAP members can earn free CE credits through self-study courses and on-demand webinars. Non-members can access these courses with a small fee.
OSAP is a dental membership association dedicated to infection prevention. OSAP Executive Director, Michelle Lee CPC, said in the press release, that this platform is a further commitment to their message.
“OSAP’s mission is to be the leading provider of infection prevention and control education, training and credentialing that supports safe dental visits. For years, the OSAP board has wanted to be able to provide more online education options,” Lee said in the press release.
