The Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid provides an extended selection of 3D volume sizes as well as traditional 2D panoramic and cephalometric imaging. Size matters: The system offers an optimal volume size for every application requiring 3D imaging ranging from 34 mm x 42 mm to 16 cm x 16 cm. The volume size selection allows for optimizing the imaging area to specific diagnostic tasks such as high resolution endodontics, implantology requiring a smaller field of view and large image sizes for orthodontics.

Image is everything: The standard panoramic imaging program is optimized to expose only the teeth area. Temporomandibular joints can be imaged with an optional program in which TMJ imaging angles can be adjusted as in regular TMJ programs.
Proven technology: The ProMax 3D Mid is based on the existing Planmeca systems. The ProMax 3D for general 3D applications with a field size covering the mandible and maxilla; and the ProMax 3D Max offering a variety of field sizes from single tooth to whole maxillofacial.
Patient safety: The system is ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) compliant, keeping patient exposure to radiation to the minimum.
