Sunbit Shares Industry Survey Data Results at ADA SmileCon 2021

Sunbit is sharing the results of new industry survey data at ADA SmileCon 2021. As a buy now, pay later solution, Sunbit has become a partner for various dental groups. This survey, conducted from 1,559 dental professionals, shares a few different results:

• 58% of dental professionals said they aren’t proactively offering financing. Cost of care is often not factored into monthly budgets.
• 32% said they are not offering financing because their patients don’t need it. According to the press release, this demonstrates a disconnect between professionals and patients when it comes to financing procedures.
• Only 12% of dental professionals have expressed complete satisfaction with their existing financing solutions.
• About one-third of surveyed offices have patient financing approval rates below 59%, and over two-thirds of offices see patient approval rates below 69%.

Sunbit hopes to prove that buy now, pay later methods can offer dental practices new options for dental financing. The survey results are also said to demonstrate growing popularity in the buy now, pay later trend.

• Almost 23% of patients have purchased something with a buy now, pay later payment options.
• 56% of patients said they would prefer to pay for dental treatments with buy now, pay later.
• 43& of patients said they would undergo more dental treatments if they were able to pay for them over time.

Sunbit hopes to demonstrate the value of its buy now, pay later system through these survey results. The results were premiered at the Sunbit booth at ADA SmileCon 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
