Orascoptic, a leading manufacturer of Loupes and Headlights used in the Dental community, has announced that in 2011 it will be making a monetary donation to the Charity Organization SmileTrain for every one of its new Freedom cordless LED lights sold.

SmileTrain is a charity that provides life-changing  surgery to children suffering with cleft lips and palates who otherwise could not afford this treatment.  Through the program called “Shine a Light on What is Right” Orascoptic hopes to help SmileTrain with their mission of bringing smiles to the faces of many children.

“The SmileTrain organization is a wonderful organization that we are happy to be helping with their mission.  Their goal of providing beautiful smiles to children suffering with cleft lips and palates is in line with our goal of helping the Dental community provide beautiful smiles and we are proud to be working with them this year”, stated Steve Fanning, Director of Marketing for Orascoptic.

“Smile Train is honored to have Orascoptic as a sponsor.  With their donation, we will help more children than we ever thought possible” stated Michele Sinesky, SmileTrain Donor Relations Manager.  Communication of the “Shine a Light on What is Right” program will begin in February.
