Lincoln Dental has announced that they are the exclusive sellers of Swiss Master Vitrified Diamond Grinders, diamond grinders that are well-regarded in the dental lab industry.
These grinders are made with an innovative non-metallic vitreous matrix in a porous honeycomb structure. The self-sharpening, multi-layer matrix continuously expels worn diamonds while exposing new ones to guarantee fast, smooth stock removal with minimal effort, heat, or pressure throughout the live of the tool.
Swiss Master Grinders are designed to produce no contamination, thermal stress, marking, burning, chatter, fumes or smells. The tools stay clean and open at all times and do not require any conditioning. Swiss Master Diamond Grinders reportedly produce excellent results on zirconia, aluminum oxide, lithium dislicate, e.max and a variety of ceramic materials.
“I’ve had the opportunity of testing Lincoln’s new Swiss-made diamond grinders on zirconia, e-max and porcelain,” said Bill Kikuta, CDT and owner of Paradise Dental. “I thought I was already using the best products that were available on the market today, but I have to say I’m very impressed with how easy the grinders remove the material at a very low rpm with only minimal pressuring applied and with almost no heat generated. The grinders also hold up much longer and keep them their shape, while staying open and sharp. Another great advantage is that they are bonded with glass so there is no contamination of my products.”
The recommended speed for the grinders are 10,000 to 15,000 rpm. They come in three shapes a cone (4x11mm), Small Cylinder (4.8x13mm), and Large Cylinder (6.5x13mm).
