Steve Kokal joins Millennium Dental Technologies as VP of Sales and Marketing. MDT is the developer of the LANAP Protocol for the treatment of gum disease and the manufacturer of the PerioLase MVP-7 digital dental laser.
"We have known Steve for over 14 years and liked him personally and respected him as a competitor in the dental laser marketplace," stated Robert H. Gregg II, DDS, President and co-founder of MDT. "We are excited Steve has brought his knowledge to MDT to help infuse the company with strong, disciplined professional sales management to support our corporate growth initiatives as the LANAP protocol continues to be adopted as the preferred laser periodontitis surgery by general dentists and specialists alike."
Prior to joining Millennium Dental Technologies, Steve was the laser sales manager at Lares Research. Kokal earned a B.S. degree in Electronics and Computer Technology from California State University, Fresno, and an M.B.A from Pepperdine University. His 22 years of sales management experience encompasses 16 years in the dental industry-primarily introducing laser technology to dentists.
"I am intimately familiar with MDT's mission of changing the standard of care for periodontal disease treatment," said Kokal. "I supported the mission when I first met Drs. Gregg and McCarthy and watched the progression from anecdotal ENAP results to proven LANAP results - a major milestone! Moreover, MDT accepted the challenges from the dental community to produce irrefutable proof and has done so."

"In the 14 years since working with Drs. Gregg and McCarthy, one thing that has constantly impressed me is that the vision and value proposition have not changed. The LANAP protocol has been and remains about the best treatment for the patient," said Kokal.
"We're pleased to have Steve join the team during this growth period at Millennium Dental Technologies, overseeing both sales and marketing," said Delwin McCarthy, DDS and Chief Technology Officer of MDT." "Despite the current economy, MDT continues to grow domestically and internationally with additional support personnel and increasing numbers of LANAP clinicians."
