Where

Any practice seeking to resolve patients’ obstructed sleep apnea.

When
Reportedly between 33% and 50% of the patients whom dentists see are suffering from OSA. With the Vivos System, dentists can now make a lasting impact on the overall health and wellbeing of their patients.

Why

The Vivos System is designed to bring patients lasting relief from their OSA symptoms without a lifetime of intervention. Other treatment options must reportedly be worn or used every night to be effective. Mandibular advancement appliances are palliative and must be worn for life to be effective. Treatment with the Vivos System is said to take just 12 to 24 months, after which no further intervention is required.

*How

The Vivos System is designed to remodel and enhance the hard and soft tissues that define and shape the airway. Studies have shown that, as treatment progresses, patients’ airways remodel and expand, becoming less prone to apneas. Mandibular advancement oral appliances are not designed to function in that way. The Vivos System offers patients treatment designed to adjust the airway itself so that it functions the way it is meant to during sleep.
