DENTSPLY Hosts Echo Dental Lab for 3Shape Training Class
York, Pa.-Tom McPherson, CDT, owner, and LJ McPherson of Echo Dental Laboratory in Fairview, N.C. joined DENTSPLY Prosthetics on March 4 for a two day, 3Shape Training course that covered an introduction to the scanner, its features and its capabilities. DENTSPLY Prosthetics offers the 3Shape technical training to customers with their purchase of the system to teach them basic operations, and learn how to drive the 3Shape’s “Live Case” functionality.

3Shape has partnered with DENTSPLY to sell the 3Shape open scanner system, which produces .stl files that can be sent in-lab to DENTSPLY Compartis® centralized milling service, or the DENTSPLY Cercon® brain expert milling machine for precious metal or zirconia substructures.
