As part of its 25th anniversary celebration and unveiling of a new brand logo and tagline, CareCredit recently launched a variety of new programs and services. One of these offerings is a redesigned credit card that more closely represents the key role CareCredit has had in the lives of more than 20 million patients over the past 25 years. Starting last month, thousands of new cardholders who are approved every month for CareCredit will receive credit cards featuring the new design.
Inspired by input from consumers, providers and cardholders, the new CareCredit credit card design retains the cornerstones of the CareCredit brand – trust, strength and dependability – while incorporating the company’s new, uplifting and positive color palette and logo. Existing cardholders can continue to use their current credit card or can request a new one by calling 866-893-7864.
“CareCredit’s focus is to make it easier for families to access the care they need, from dentistry and optometry, to audiology and veterinary care for their pets,” said Cindy Hearn, senior vice president, CareCredit. “Our new credit card design better reflects our mission and our brand with a fresh and contemporary look that has been extremely well-received by cardholders and providers.”
The new design was launched to the 160,000 enrolled CareCredit providers who will accept both the updated and existing versions of the CareCredit credit card from their patients. Enrolled practices with questions can contact CareCredit at 800-859-9975. If a practice is interested in accepting CareCredit as a payment option, they can request more information by calling 800-300-3046 ext. 4519 or visiting carecredit.com/dental.
Additionally, CareCredit recently completed a comprehensive redesign of its CareCredit.com website for dental practices that accept CareCredit as a financial option. The streamlined site delivers enhanced functionality, simplifying the CareCredit program for their practice.
The healthcare provider site is available to CareCredit’s nearly 160,000 enrolled healthcare practices to access the information and tools they need to manage the CareCredit program within their financial system. The new, clean and simple layout and easy-to-navigate interface enables users to perform a number of functions from the homepage including: log-on and application processing, transactions, and viewing and printing key reports. Each page features a link to the online Payment Calculator for quick and easy access, as well as a “click to chat” feature that immediately connects the practice to a CareCredit support representative. The dental office team members also can check the status of an application in real time, request a credit line increase, and reprint receipts. For increased privacy and security, practices can create unique credentials for each member of the team, determine individual access parameters, and monitor user activity.
“In today’s busy dental practice, saving even a few minutes can make the day easier,” said Oskar Vides, vice president of Provider Experience, CareCredit. “We asked practices how we could provide a better experience online and used their input to develop and test a new site that is more functional, logical and efficient. Everything they need to use CareCredit to help patients get the care they need is easy to find and use.”
