BIOLASE’s new education center will provide clinicians and dental professionals with hands-on training on all things dental lasers.
A new education center from BIOLASE is in the works, located right next to BIOLASE’s Lake Forest, California headquarters. The goal of this new education center is to allow clinicians to get a first look and in-depth education on BIOLASE’s variety of dental lasers, per a press release from the company.
The “BIOLASE Education Center” will be modeled in such a way that BIOLASE can host courses in a modular setting, allowing for different types of courses on any given day. Two notable courses will be on BIOLASE’s Waterlase all-tissue and the Epic diode family of laser products. As laser dentistry expands, the need for this education center has grown, according to President and CEO of BIOLASE, John Beaver.
“This new facility is designed to build upon our success in adding new laser dentists and to attract the 90% of U.S. dentists that are not currently benefiting from laser technology,” Beaver says in the press release. “We expect these destination-style facilities to encourage wider participation and ensure dental practitioners receive a consistent educational experience from experts in their fields. We also expect the hands-on training will give these practitioners greater confidence to adopt our lasers for better patient outcomes while at the same time attracting new patients interested in the enhanced capabilities made possible with dental laser technology.”
An open house on July 27, 2023, will allow interested parties to get a sneak preview of the facility. It starts at 5pm pacific standard time.
