Amann Girrbach has just announced that the upgraded digital fabrication machine is now fully compatible with more of the industry’s leading materials, including the company’s own VITABLOCS Mark II and TriLuxe forte glass ceramic blanks.
According to Amann Girrbach, VITABLOCS are available as individual blanks or in the company’s Glass-Ceramic Starter Kit, which includes 15 blanks, diamond grinders, blank and tool holders, and the GCER Universal Bonding Kit. Other popular brands compatible with the Ceramill Motion 2 Milling Unit include VITA’s glass-ceramic blanks, IPS e.max CAD blanks from Ivoclar Vivadent, and more.
Whatever materials lab practitioners choose, Amann Girrbach promises the Motion 2’s processing capability seamlessly meshes with the existing Ceramill System, which also supports Motion 2 and Ceramill Mind CAD software; plus Ceramill Match 2 CAM software.
