MADISON, Wis. - Preferred pricing for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (AACD) Annual Scientific Session, AACD 2013 in Seattle, will end on Friday, April 5. Those who register before 5 p.m. on Friday CT will receive a $150 discount on tuition.
AACD 2013 will take place April 24-27, 2013, in Seattle at the Washington Convention Center. Aside from a heavy-hitting lineup of educators including Drs. Frank Spear, Newton Fahl, Maurice Salama, John Kois, and more, the AACD will provide several inspiring general sessions.
Thursday morning’s general session features Dr. Brene Brown, author of the recently released “Daring Greatly,” who will speak about courage and vulnerability. Dr. Brown was recently interviewed by Oprah for her OWN Network’s Super Soul Sunday.
“If you join us at AACD 2013, you’ll receive a different educational experience compared with most dental meetings,” said AACD President Ron Goodlin. “Our members are among the brightest and most well-known cosmetic dental professionals. We offer you a higher level of learning you won’t receive anywhere else. If you want to be challenged, AACD 2013 is for you.”
Attendees also will have the opportunity to support the AACD Charitable Foundation’s Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program by participating in the Silent Auction and attending the Celebration of Smiles Fundraiser, which will be hosted at the Seattle Tap House Grill. GBAS restores the smiles and lives of domestic violence survivors through the help of volunteer dental professionals.
The Academy will kick off AACD 2013 with an Opening Welcome Reception at the Experience Music Project, located in downtown Seattle and sponsored by Heartland Dental Care. Attendees will be treated to refreshments and the chance to learn about the progression of music throughout history. This event is included in attendees’ tuition.
