What: Ti-Max Z95L handpiece

Who:

NSK Dental
888-675-1675 | nskdental.com

Where: Dental practices of all sizes
and specialties.

When: Indicated for any use, but its slimmer body and neck are particularly well-suited for easier access to hard-to-reach areas without obstructing the view.

Why: Featuring an innovative switch valve for contra-angle handpieces, the Ti-Max Z95L can switch between the Water Spray (water and air) and the Water Jet (water only) options. This is said to reduce water aerosols by up to 50% and is activated by twisting the built-in switch. The handpiece is designed for durability, with its gear coated in diamond-like carbon for wear resistance. The device’s microfilter prevents particles from entering the water spray system, ensuring optimum water spray cooling.

*How: The Ti-Max Z95L features a unique head cap design that helps limit heat generation, and its ceramic bearings are 25% harder than conventional steel bearings although just half the weight. This allows the handpiece to reduce frictional wear between the ball bearings and the bearing retainer. The Clean Head System also has a mechanism that keeps foreign matter from the oral cavity out of the head, preventing the risk of cross-contamination. With a titanium exterior, the light handpiece is designed to reduce strain on hands during procedures, and its hardness improves stability for autoclave sterilization. An ergonomic body shape and DURAGRIP coating are designed to provide grip and handling comfort.
