Where

Any dental lab in need of an affordable dry electropolishing machine that does not take up a lot of space

When

DLyte Desktop Dental is suitable for metal surface treatments for cobalt chrome pieces and the process of casting, sintering, or milling removable partial dentures.

Why

DLyte Desktop Dental replaces traditional hand polishing through its automation, making polishing more efficient and saving the dental lab time. Because the system does not require special preexisting or compressed air installation, it is relatively easy to install and accessible for most dental labs. Its small dimensions (450 × 521 × 471 mm) make it compact enough to suit smaller labs as well as larger ones. DLyte Desktop Dental also comes with system software to assist technicians in the polishing process.

The How*

DLyte Desktop Dental uses DryLyte Technology for automation of the surface treatment, which results in minimal material removal, geometry preservation, and esthetic shine. A 3-L container filled with solid electrolyte is placed in the machine. Parts to be polished are then clamped onto the holder finger and placed into the equipment. To finish, technicians select the specific program, and the piece is fully cycled and ready in 50 to 60 minutes.
