The Bluewave emits the optimal wavelength of 810nm, giving it the highest affinity to hemoglobin and melanin. This produces a more predictable surgical result with faster and more comfortable healing than with a scalpel or electrocautery techniques. The unique blue aiming beam produces higher contrast on blood and oral tissues, resulting in greater visibility and accuracy. Allowing for up to 3 hours of continuous use on its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Bluewave is ideal as a surgical instrument or for noninvasive laser-assisted periodontal and hygiene therapy.
