PaX-i3D Green is an eco-friendly addition to Vatech’sPaX-i3D brand, offering ultra-low dose radiation and FDA clearance for pediatric use.

Reportedly, the PaX-i3D Green provides a radiation dosage lower than that of 2D imaging units, while at the same time providing consistently high-quality 3D images.

Incorporating the “green” moniker into its build, the unit is manufactured without the use of hazardous substances and utilizes renewable energy sources to reduce its overall carbon footprint.

Additional features of the PaX-i3D include 49.5 micron full-digital CMOS sensors; cephalometric, panoramic and CT imaging on separate, dedicated sensors; and vertical and horizontal collimation.
