At the California Dental Association's "CDA Presents" conference in Anaheim, Calif., earlier this month, Kerr Dental representative Linda Ivanov shared details on the company's SonicFill bulk fill composite system.
The only easy-to-use bulk fill composite that does not call for an additional capping layer, SonicFill offers sonic activation that allows for the rapid flow of composite into the cavity, resulting in reportedly easy placement and better adaptation.
"One nice thing about this material is that it allows us to do what typically takes anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes in incrementally layering in about three minutes," said Ivanov. "This is liquefaction at its best utilizing vibration."
