Colgate® Launches “Destination Innovation” Discovery Bus Tours During the 2014 GNYDM

Colgate® is encouraging dentists and hygienists to discover its Global Research & Technology Center by joining its new “Destination Innovation” Discovery Bus tours at this year's annual Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Colgate® is encouraging dentists and hygienists to discover its Global Research & Technology Center by joining its new “Destination Innovation” Discovery Bus tours at this year's annual Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Passengers aboard the tours will enjoy a VIP experience that includes an opportunity to meet the experts behind Colgate’s oral healthcare products, learn the science behind Colgate Total® toothpaste and experience where Colgate’s products are conceived, researched and developed.

The full educational experience will begin immediately upon boarding the Destination Innovation Discovery Bus. A dedicated tour host, along with a select Colgate scientist, will conduct a traveling interactive learning experience for all passengers. Guests will be treated to informative presentations, educational videos, personalized social media services and much more.

“The Destination Innovation Discovery Bus Tour will be a truly unique experience,” remarked Dr. Fotinos S. Panagakos, Global Director, Scientific Affairs and Research Relations for the Colgate-Palmolive Company. “We are pleased to extend this open invitation in order to showcase the inner workings of our clinical research environment. I am certain that attendees will walk away with a heightened sense of confidence and appreciation for the research that Colgate experts perform in order to deliver the most trusted oral healthcare products on the market.”

Upon arrival at Colgate’s Global Research & Technology Center in Piscataway, New Jersey, guests will be greeted by Colgate experts and gain insight into areas such as evidence-based dentistry, microbiology, triclosan safety, periodontal therapy, implants and implant maintenance and more.

The Destination Innovation Discovery Bus Tour is free of charge and all participants will receive three continuing education credits. Complimentary lunch will be provided for each tour, that will depart from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center twice per day:

  • Monday, December 1st at 8:30am and 12:30pm

  • Tuesday, December 2nd at 8:30am and 12:30pm
