Fernando Meza, DMD, is a 2002 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and he received his certificate in endodontics from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2004. During residency, he conducted research on the BIOLASE Waterlase all-tissue laser to explore its disinfecting capabilities on bacterially infected root canal systems. His research led to a publication on the Waterlase in the Journal of the American Dental Association in 2007. He has lectured for BIOLASE in hands-on courses and provided in-office training to many endodontists in the United States and Canada. He is on the fellowship track offered by the World Clinical Laser Institute.
