ZimVie Announces Launch of New TSX Implant

ZimVie has announced the launch of its newest generation TSX implant. This dental implant, designed for immediate extraction and loading, is also integrated with ZimeVie’s digital workflows for optimized protocols. It uses a hybrid of ZimVie’s dual acid-etched (DAE) and MTX surface technologies for increased attention to the coronal and sub-coronal regions.

This new implant system is said to offer stability and precision with its progressive threads and taper, boosting confidence in practitioners and patients, according to SVP and President of ZimVie Dental Indraneel Kanaglekar.

“We created the TSX Implant to improve patient experience and enhance clinicians’ confidence in successful procedures that can be delivered more efficiently,” Kanaglekar said in a press release from the company. “We continue to invest in bringing new, innovative products to market that broaden our suite of digitally integrated, efficient, and versatile workflows designed to improve patient health and satisfaction.”

The TSX Implant is surgically compatible with soft and dense bone protocol, existing tools, and ZimVie’s digital dentistry platform. It is also compatible with the Encode® Emergence 3-in-1 Healing Abutment, Impression Coping, and Scanbody System.

The TSX Implant follows ZimVie’s laumch of the T3® PRO Tapered Implant and The Encode Emergence Healing Abutment earlier in 2022.
