This partnership aims to streamline dental inventory management with a plethora of features that enhance inventory workflows.
Inventory management solutions company Zimbis has announced a strategic partnership with dental practice management specialists DSN Software. Together, they aim to streamline dental inventory management for practices, according to a press release from Zimbis.
Included in this integration will be the vital inventory tracking feature, enabling dental practices to keep tabs on its inventory through Zimbis. Through it, they will be able to see what they are low on and can take advantage of the integration’s automated reordering feature. This ensures a steady supply of dental supplies, eliminating the fear of running out of something that a clinician may need before they can order more manually.
Other key features include an enhanced reporting system that can allow practices to monitor spending and usage habits as well as enhanced compliance features in the documentation of FDA-mandated implant lot numbers. Finally, Zimbis will provide its double-locked containers for controlled drugs to ensure DEA-compliant transaction logging.
Together, this integration hopes to make workflows smoother, according to Zimbis President Louis Visser, DDS.
“This integration represents a significant step forward in our mission to bring smarter inventory solutions to the health care industry,” Dr Visser said in the press release. “By combining our strengths with DSN Software, we are making it easier for dental practices to manage their supplies efficiently and cost-effectively.”
Through the integration, dental practices will be able to serve its patient population, according to DSN Software CEO Sam Munakl in the press release. He stated, “Our collaboration with Zimbis reflects our dedication to enhancing the operational capabilities of dental practices through technology. This partnership will deliver real returns to our users, helping them to better serve their patients and manage their operations.”
