Earth City, Mo. (October 2012) - Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time when individuals work together to spread the word to make a difference, and Young Dental is no different. For the third consecutive year, Young™ is bringing its popular pink disposable prophy angle back to show its commitment toward raising breast cancer awareness.
As a proud sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.®, Young is helping promote the cause within the industry. They hope to see dental offices across the country join in this cause and show off their “Pink Pride.”
For every “Pink Pride” picture sent in via email to pink@ydnt.com, Twitter, or Facebook, Young will donate $2 to the NBCF in the name of each specific dental practice. Pictures can include anything that displays the practice’s support, such as pink scrubs, pink decorations, or Young’s pink prophy angles.
In addition to the Pink Pride Campaign, Young is giving its customers another opportunity to contribute to the cause by purchasing pink prophy angles from October through December. Samples of Young’s pink angles will be available for clinicians at the American Dental Association annual session later this month and at the Greater New York Dental Meeting in November. To bring this “pink pride” into dental offices, 200- and 1,200-count boxes of Classic Pink and Contra Elite Pink angles are available for purchase.
