Start-up tech company Weave debuted their new full-scale payment processing platform for small and medium-sized businesses during the Greater New York Dental Meeting. The new platform, Weave Payments, is designed to help service-based medical businesses, such as dental practices, recruit and retain patients by managing the whole field of patient communication.
“Weave Payments is an integral part of the end-to-end Weave platform,” said Jefferson Lyman, chief product officer at Weave. “Weave offers solutions for every step of the business process-from the first phone call to the final invoice. Business owners want to provide the best experience for their customers throughout every interaction. Whether it’s communications, appointment scheduling, payment processing, or garnering online reviews, it all can be done in Weave’s cohesive platform,” Lyman said.
A 2018 report by Deloitte found that 29 million US businesses have 500 employees or fewer, representing 99.7 percent of employers and almost half of private-sector employment, Weave said in a statement.
Managing a variety of platforms has almost turned into full-time work, forcing employers to hire employees earlier than they would like. Processing payments can be time-consuming, and getting different platforms to work together can be challenging.
The Weave Payments is part of the overall Weave platform, a complete business toolbox for service-based businesses like dental and medical providers. Weave’s unique integration of hardware and software solutions help streamline and simplify business growth, retention, and communications.
