The new Grandio blocs PlanMill are a fire-free nano-ceramic bloc designed for the Planmeca system.
VOCO has announced a material partnership with Planmeca. The company is releasing the fire-free Nano-Ceramic hybrid Gandio blocs PlanMill. The integration of VOCO materials to the Planmeca system is designed to help service a growing segment of CAD/CAM users.
Grandio blocs are said to be high quality with many other milling systems and have excelled thanks to its toothlike properties, esthetics, and time-saving attributes.
The nano-ceramic hybrid block eliminates the need for firing, saving time and money while simplifying optional characterization and intraoral repair. The high filler degree of 86% allows for wear resistance and long-term color stability. In addition, its toothlike elasticity and thermal expansion behavior enhance marginal integrity compared to ceramic/zirconia. The blocs are formulated to offer precision-milled, thin, tapered edges (as low as 0.8 mm for crowns) without concern for chipping or breakage.
Grandio blocs PlanMill is indicated for crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, and implant-supported crowns. Planmeca’s latest software update allows PlanMill users to easily select the perfect milling strategy for Grandio blocs PlanMill.
