VIDEO: The importance of setting targets and goals in the dental practice

Article

During the recent Chicago Midwinter Meeting, Dr. Roger Levin of Levin Group spent a few moments with Dental Practice Management talking about the importance of a dental practice setting targets and goals.

Dr. Levin believes that this is an important part of a dental practice thinking like a business as all businesses have targets that they are striving to reach.

Dr. Levin suggests setting 20-25 targets, which are metrics that can and should be achieved in the practice. In the same way that we each have blood pressure and cholesterol numbers that we want to hit when we have our annual physicals, dental practices should have target numbers that they want to reach as well.
