Ultradent Products, Inc has joined the many efforts to help the Red Cross assist in relief efforts by those affected by the deadly Hurricane Helene.
The company—a leading developer and manufacturer of high-tech dental materials—is donating 5% of total sales from orders placed tomorrow (Tuesday, October 8) to the Red Cross to support relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene. Helene, the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland U.S. since Katrina in 2005, has claimed more than 225 lives after the storm ravaged the Southeast and killed people in 6 states. About half the victims were in North Carolina, while dozens more were killed in Georgia and South Carolina.
"The devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has deeply impacted countless lives and we are inspired by the compassion we’ve seen from so many people working to help those in need,” says Ultradent President and CEO Dirk Jeffs in today’s press release. “We invite the dental community to join us in supporting these communities through the Red Cross.”
Additionally, Ultradent is offering dental supplies to affected care providers to assist in their recovery. For more information about Ultradent, visit ultradent.com.
