Tuttnauer Releases T-Classic 9 Portable Autoclave

Tuttnauer has introduced the T-Classic 9, a 9-liter, lightweight, portable steam autoclave designed as a cost-effective sterilization solution. The T-Classic 9 is fully automatic with an easy 1-touch operation, delivering short cycles starting at 18 minutes, according to the company.

Designed to meet the portability needs of small- to medium-sized practices, the T-Classic 9 can also be used in combination with another autoclave or as a backup. The unit offers competitively quick unwrapped cycle times. The fast point-of-use sterilization makes turnaround a priority, increasing efficiency while eliminating bottlenecks. With 1 touch, the T-Classic 9 will begin an autoclave cycle until completion. An electronic detector will turn off the power if the water level is insufficient.

The T-Classic 9 is said to be the lightest tabletop autoclave available, weighing only 11.7 lbs, allowing for easy portability while requiring minimal counter space. A thermal fuse is in place to protect the unit against overheating and electrical faults.
