The teledentisry platform TeleDent from MouthWatch will integrate with Henry Schein’s Dentrix G6 and G7 practice management software. As part of this integration, Dentrix G6 and G7 users can use TeleDent’s 2-way video conferencing for teledentistry solutions. There is a HIPAA-compliant patient communications and messaging feature as well, allowing for a plethora of teledentistry capabilities.
“Deploying teledentistry is now easier for Dentrix G6 and G7 users,” MouthWatch founder and CEO Brant Herman said in a press release from the company. “TeleDent’s comprehensive, convenient, and secure virtual care platform is able to scale across the full spectrum of Dentrix G6 and G7 clients, from individual private practies to DSOs with hundreds of locations.”
Dentrix-using practices can integrate consultations with video, patient records, and intraoral photos for better virtual care. The messaging system also allows for easy, open communication between practitioner and patient.
This integration is available now for all TeleDent users.
