Article

The sale includes not just the GUIDOR products, but Sunstar's entire Degradable Solutions division.

GUIDOR bought by Collagen Matrix

Sunstar recently agreed to sell its Degradable Solutions division including its GUIDOR line of synthetic resorbable materials to Collagen Matrix, Inc.

The Degradable Solutions division, based in Switzerland, has been a part of Sunstar Group since 2011. It produces a range of synthetic tissue regeneration products including the GUIDOR line including bone graft materials, and resorbable matrices and membranes.

Collagen Matrix plans to expand its dental product lines in 2021 with a new type of dental membrane, and company executives said in a press release that the GUIDOR acquisition fits into the company's plans to take a leadership position in the dental bone graft and membrane market.
