Sun Dental Labs add to digital dentistry workflows with 3D Systems 3D printers

With an eye toward enhancing the efficiency of its all-digital workflows, Sun dental Labs recently announced the addition of several 3D Systems 3D printers to its technology portfolio. The Florida-based, international full-service lab plans to use the printers in production of both fixed restorations and removable appliances.

The new technology was added to enhance the lab's capabilities with printed wax-ups for press and cast restorations, as well as printed models from data captured by any intraoral or impression scanner. Technology such as this allows an efficient, all-digital workflow by automating the time consuming wax-up and model phases of the production process.

ProJet™ Dental 3D Printers Integral to Sun Dental Digital Manufacturing
