SOTA Imaging announced the launch of the SOTA Cloud, a cloud-based dental imaging software. This software is said to allow users to capture, view, and edit images in-browser. Features include enhanced security, power, and efficiency.

The SOTA Cloud is built with technology that ensures HIPAA-compliant data security for patient data, so that a practice can be comfortable knowing it's safeguarded from hacking. SOTA Imaging Vice President of Sales and Marketing Albert Kim said this product was built with practices in mind first.

“This product is a culmination of years of careful planning, tirelessly collecting feedback from users, and intimately understanding the needs of the dental team,” Kim said in a press release.

SOTA Cloud also utilizes an Offline Module that can allow practices to work offline and can be synced whenever the internet is accessible once again. Besides the data security and online/offline functionality, the SOTA Cloud is also said to feature powerful image enhancement tools and the filtering technology SOTA POP for contrast.

A user-friendly dashboard is available for clinicians to communicate, view images, check data, and access insights that can help bolster case acceptance in patients. SOTA Cloud also has a cloud sharing functionality, allowing for easy and secure data sharing for images.
