Solmetex will acquire Impladent to expand regenerative product offerings into new markets in the United States and globally.
Dental waterline safety and amalgam separator company Solmetex has announced its acquisition of Impladent. This acquisition will add Impladent’s OsteoGen® Plug, a regenerative socket preservation solution, to Solmetex’s platform, as well as expand their portfolio of offerings for dental practices and dental service organizations, per a press release from Solmetex.
Through this acquisition, Impladent aims to grow into new markets, according to president Andrew Valen.
“We are eager to partner with Solmetex to help launch our next phase of growth and accelerate expansion into new markets with new products,” Valen says in the press release. “After nearly 40 years operating as a family company, we are confident that Solmetex is the right partner at the right time to take Impladent to the next level.”
Solmetex, which focuses not only on dental waterline products but also modern dental isolation technology, will work with Impladent to grow together.
“We are proud to partner with a leader and innovator in regenerative dental technology,” Solmetex CEO Gene Dorff says in the press release. “We believe the addition of Impladent to our offering will unlock meaningful growth in new areas. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with the Impladent team and execute on our plans for future expansion.”
The financial terms of the this acquisition were not disclosed, per Solmetex.
