Solemetex has acquired Sterisil to combine the groups for safer and more environmentally friendly dental water line safety and treatment.
Dental waste compliance products producer Solemetex has announced an acquisition of Sterisil®. Sterisil manufactures dental unit water line infection control products. This acquisition was done to create a leader in dental water treatment and safety, according to a press release from the companies.
Sterisil will expand its capacity for new technologies in water line treatment and safety with Solemetex. This acquisition will also boost emphasis on the ecological implications of caring for patients in the dental practice, according to Solemetex Chief Executive Officer Gene Dorff.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for Solemetex and I am confident that adding Sterisil to our platform will ensure growth and expansion opportunities as we continue to deliver excellent customer service and high quality, reliable products,” Dorff said in the press release. “I look forward to collaborating with the team to develop and execute our strategic vision for a successful future.”
This partnership and acquisition was done to expand the platform for both companies, according to Sterisil’s Vice President and Co-owner Theresa Downs.
