SmileFy's 3D Smile Design Software Enables In-Office Digital Treatment Planning

Article

The software allows dentists to create mock-ups in-office in just 1 appointment.

SmileFy Inc. has released the latest update of its smile design software, which features 3D Smile Design as a chairside solution for dentists to create facially guided mock-ups in-office within minutes. SmileFy’s 3D Smile Design is said to make the digital workflow simpler and reliable.

The software will allow dentists and dental labs to collaborate on patient cases directly from the software, improving communication and turnaround times. Treatment can be initiated with more accuracy by incorporating intraoral scans, 3D facial scans, and CBCT scans to predict and visualize the end result before starting treatment. Unlimited 3D Smile Designs can be exported as open projects for 3D printing and manufacturing with any CAD/CAM software.

Other SmileFy features include an intuitive user interface for dentists to access from any iPhone, iPad, or Mac; facially driven, natural-looking Smile Simulations generated by SmileFy’s artificial intelligence; Digital Patient module for a 3D view of the patient’s head using all your digital files; and an extensive library of natural tooth shapes.
