Dental equipment manufacturer Vatech and software company SICAT have announced a new partnership that will integrate SICAT’s full suite of applications into Vatech’s Ez3D-i™ 3D imaging software. Along with this, SICAT Suite, which includes implant, endo, and air, as well as surgical guides, and therapeutic appliances will also be available in Vatech’s line of 3D CBCT products.

Practitioners utilizing Vatech CBCT Equipment can now leverage the advanced capabilities of the newly integrated SICAT Suite software modules. This integration allows for comprehensive 3D diagnostics and planning, enhancing the precision and efficiency of dental procedures, according to a press release from SICAT.

The SICAT Suite, enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI), is said to offer highly precise and fast surgical guides for both implantology and endodontic surgery. Additionally, it includes features for Airway analysis, essential for managing obstructive sleep apnea through SICAT’s leading OPTISLEEP therapeutic appliance. These combined technologies are designed to elevate patient care by enabling same-day results, per the press release.

“Improving the implant workflow and ease of use is a guiding principle for Vatech,” Louis DeFilippo, Vice President of Sales for Vatech America, said in the press release. “This partnership with SICAT adds a world-class surgical guide solution to the Vatech Ez3D-i software suite for all Vatech clients. Additionally, this creates a new path for CEREC owners to utilize the equipment they love for digital impressions and CAD/CAM with Vatech 3D innovations.”

Craig Hennings, President of SICAT-US, echoed this sentiment in the press release, highlighting the benefits to dental consumers. “Today’s dental consumer deserves the best possible treatment options. The integration of SICAT Suite with Vatech’s full line of 3D Imaging Equipment now allows dentists to provide their patients with an ideal experience. The package further equips the dentist with an optimized, fully digital chairside workflow that produces precise outcomes through SICAT’s surgical guides. The dentist’s success is accomplished through best-in-class clinical support. Using AI, SICAT is able to provide our best-in-class RAPID DIGITALGUIDE for in-office 3D printing. In less than 20 minutes, the dental practitioner receives a ready-to-print STL file compatible with all 3D printers. We are thrilled with this feature via our working relationship and integration between Vatech and SICAT.”
