Shofu Dental Corporation introduces Ceramage UP

Article

The light-cure, indirect flowable is said to offer revolutionary handling.

During the 2018 LMT Lab Day Meeting in Chicago, IL, Shofu Dental Corporation, a leading manufacturer of award-winning dental materials and equipment, announced the introduction of Ceramage UP, a new light-cure indirect flowable composite with an ergonomic handling.

73 wt.% filled with zirconium silicate, this revolutionary micro-hybrid ceramic restorative is designed for veneering of a broad range of substrates, in anterior and posterior indications, including CAD/CAM-fabricated metal and hybrid-ceramic frameworks, screw-retained implant suprastructures, metal-reinforced restorations, occlusal restorations, telescopic and implant suprastructures, denture teeth and long-term provisional restorations.

The unique, pen-like delivery system and a low viscosity of Ceramage UP provide dental laboratory technicians with versatility and reliability in hard-to-reach areas, such as gingival, cervical and pontic regions, where the build-up and naturalization processes can pose tremendous challenges. The flowable-sculptable attributes of Ceramage UP allow for a precise application directly onto a restoration or by dispensing with a probe or a brush, and prevent the product’s waste.

Available in 5g syringes in 17 opaque dentin shades, 21 body shades, 8 cervical shades, 5 incisal shades, 10 gum shades, 5 effect shades, 8 translucent shades, and 2- and 8-color sets, Ceramage UP can be purchased directly from Shofu.
