SDI Limited has introduced Riva Bond LC, a 9th generation of adhesives that dramatically reduces the polymerization stress caused by composites shrinking.

SDI Limited has introduced Riva Bond LC, a 9th generation of adhesives that dramatically reduces the polymerization stress caused by composites shrinking.

Riva Bond LCis a universal light cured adhesive for direct restorations. Until now, dentists have had no choice but to place a composite that they know will shrink and not be able to do anything about it.

“The adhesive choice a dentist makes is critical for clinical success,” says Samantha Cheetham, director of sales and marketing. “For the first time ever, all dentists can now have a long lasting and sensitivity-free restoration.”

Riva Bond LC’s unique Stress Reduction TechnologyTM incorporates bioactive ionglassTM technology with advanced glass ionomer resin technology ensuring minimal stress at all bonding interfaces. 

“It is remarkably rewarding to see the launch of Riva Bond LC, there is no other adhesive can achieve high bond strengths and significantly reduced stress at the restorative interface like Riva Bond LC,” said Joshua Cheetham, director of research and development.
