SDI Limited’s new Riva Cem Automix resin modified glass ionomer cement features the company’s revolutionary ionglass™ technology designed to deliver optimal strength and esthetics.

Riva Cem Automix is a self-curing, radiopaque, fluoride releasing paste/paste resin modified glass-ionomer luting cement. It is indicated for the permanent cementation of metal and ceramic restorations such as zirconia, porcelain and orthodontic bands.

With SDI’s ionglass technology, it features a unique blend of different sized reactive glass particles that harness ion-release to cross-link polycarboxylic acid chains. This focused ion release gives Riva Cem Automix a clinically higher bond strength, improved strength and more stable esthetic properties, according to SDI.

The automix tip attachment offers convenience over traditional hand mixed cement systems.

SDI states a 2022 study showed that Riva Cem Automix has a superior enamel/dentin bond strength combination compared to leading cements.* Riva Cem Automix also has a superior flexural strength based on the company’s internal data.#

The same 2022 study* also confirmed that Riva Cem Automix has the best-in-class color stability, ensuring restorations do not deviate from their original shade.

Featuring more tips than other leading cements, the luting cement is said to have 25-50% less tip wastage than other cements.*
