Rhondium Introduces the QuickConnect Anatomy Band

Article

This innovative anatomy band is designed to make restorative dentistry easier and more efficient.

QuickConnect Anatomy Band with its custom carrier from Rhondium

Designed by Simon McDonald, BDS, MSc, DDPH, RCS, the inventor of the Triodent V3 Sectional Matrix System, the new QuickConnect Anatomy Band from Rhondium is a circumferential matrix band designed to provide anatomical shape while being easy to place and remove.

The matrix band can be quickly placed using a specialized carrier that allows for efficient tightening. The carrier can be positioned for placement in any quadrant, and it can easily access tight spaces such as second and third molars, while the color-coded plastic retainer keeps the band tight while in use.

The band is designed to replicate the contours of the natural dentition to create esthetic restorations with tight marginal seals. Made of hard, contoured foil and just 35 microns thick, the matrix bands retain their shape while pushing through tight contacts.

The QuickConnect Anatomy Bands are available with and without tabs at the top edge of the band. These tabs are designed to ensure tight contacts that can be caused when a matrix band pulls away from the adjacent tooth. The tabs can be pulled with a dental probe or temporarily tacked to the occlusal surfaces of adjacent teeth to ensure optimal contacts while light curing restorative materials.
